Our Story
Greg and Mindi are cousins by marriage, who have a love for all things Vintage. Greg is married to Rachel Martin and has been blessed with 5 children; Ashlyn, Hunter, Brooklyn, Chase, and Ryker. Mindi is married to Geremie Martin and they have been blessed with 4 children; Khouri, Jamison, and the twins, Melody & Merritt.
Our journey began in 2021 with the purchase of storage lockers and opening a small booth in a local flea market. That then led us to selling online through Instagram. Now, here we are 3 years later opening our very own storefront. We just can’t seem to get enough of this good ol’ stuff.
Many people ask us, “Where did you guys come up with that name?” Well, it didn’t really take us long. We pondered many names but strived for something that was not only different and catchy but captured who we were as well. Mindi was born and raised in Henderson, Texas and Greg, though born in Orange, Texas was raised in Vinton, Louisiana. It just seemed natural to merge the name of these two great states together, and that is where Texiana Vintage was born.
We are proud to be a local, veteran owned vintage shop. We search all over for the best and most unique items that time has held onto..... and, trust us, some of these places turned out to be a little on the "interesting" side. We've traveled to Kansas, Michigan, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Missouri, all of our neighboring states, as well as many other places to locate our precious treasures. We sell all things vintage, along with antique and primitive pieces too. We do not like to offer any new reproductions as they do not have a story to tell. One of our favorite parts of the job is in fact the lovely stories that accompany many of our pieces. We hold onto every word as people smile and describe their memories of the precious gems that they pass along to us. We are incredibly blessed to be able to live out this dream of ours and give these old treasures that once thrived in a time of the past a new life here in the present. What started as a weekend adventure turned into a full-blown dream—this store. It is our little corner of the world where nostalgia lives, charm thrives, and every piece has soul.
